Plank


Plank...
This is a great all over body toner!! Start on all fours, tuck the toes under, keep the shoulder blades sliding down the back, eyes looking at the ground. Engage core, including pelvic floor, and lift up off of the knees. Do not fully lock the elbows, Keep the weight spread out through all the fingers, and evenly through both hands. Make sure you are breathing.
If this is too difficult, instead of holding constant position, drop to knees and straighten to lift, drop and straighten.
Modification - alternating leg raises.
