"HIP" Yoga...

The new "HIP" Yoga class will be starting next Monday at 5:30.  The class is every Monday and Wednesday from October 20 - November 19.

This is a yoga-inspired class, that is designed to release strain in your low back with focus on opening up the hips to leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.  This is a non-meditation class.  We will be doing some relaxation, and working with the breath.  The class can easily be modified to suit the participant's needs.  As a Pilates instructor, I will be working Core strengthening into the program.  Which will be helpful to support your low back, so your low back doesn't have to do as much work to compensate for the weak abdominals.

 If you are suffering from chronic low back or hip pain, please be sure to get your health care practitioner's consent before beginning this program.  Please discuss this with your Doctor, Physiotherapist, or Massage Therapist to ensure it is an appropriate program for you.
